There's no single right answer. We size every system to the property and the household. Broadly speaking:
Typical UK household sizing
- 1–2 people, low usage: 6–8 panels (around 2.5–3.5 kWp).
- 3–4 people, average usage: 10–12 panels (around 4.0–5.0 kWp).
- Larger households or EV owners: 14–16+ panels (5.5 kWp+).

Annual electricity consumption from your bills, available south/east/west roof area, roof pitch and shading, and whether you're adding battery storage or an EV charger. We survey the roof and model expected generation before we quote.
